8th World Conference on Ecological Restoration

The conference theme for SER2019 is “Restoring Land, Water & Community Resilience”. Inspired in part by the South African experience with Working for Water and related initiatives – which are among the best examples anywhere in the world of integrating ecological, economic, and social goals under one framework – the theme is intended to help keep discussion about developments in restoration research, practice, and policy focused on the big picture.

Partners in the Outdoors Conference

Based on the Colorado Outdoor Principles and after months of collaborative work across the state from hundreds of partners, stakeholders and citizens, Colorado has drafted one of the finest Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plans in the nation. Thus, the 2019 Partners in the Outdoors Conference poses the following questions: How do we continue to collaborate, shifting from successful planning to on-the-ground implementation? And how might we turn this plan into action that will make a difference for Colorado’s future?
