River Cleanup

 
Colorado Canyons Association is excited to partner with Odell Brewing Co. for their annual Ruby-Horsethief Clean-Up! Over the course of 2 days, volunteers will travel 25 miles down the Colorado River, removing trash and debris from Ruby-Horsethief Canyon along the way. Come float the river and help them clean our waterways!
 

Connected Lakes Volunteer Event

The Connected Lakes Volunteers will meet on the first Tuesday of each month from 8 am – 10 am (May-October 2022). A list of dates and activities can be found below. Light snacks and coffee will be provided!  Work will all be outside, so please bring water, proper work attire, and sun protection.  Specialized tools will be provided, but you may also bring your own tools.

        Volunteer Planting Event at Island Acres

        Help Colorado Parks and Wildlife plant 11 trees in honor of Earth Day (April 22) at Island Acres from 9 am ~ 12 pm. 
         
        Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. (more detailed instructions will be provided when you RSVP).  All the trees will be going into the Island Acres Campground. 
         
        Volunteers should wear a long sleeve shirt and pants, boots, and leather gloves.
