The Road to Riparian Restoration

Innovations for working on public, private, and tribal lands in the arid West
Over 150 people in the the riparian restoration community gathered in Grand Junction, CO Feburary 9-11th to take part in Tamarisk Coaliton's Annual Conference.  Together, we shared techniques, bridged knowledge and expanded our networks with others on the road to riparian restoration.   The agneda included everything from flooding and river flows, biological control, plant communities and water use, and applied restoration, to three field trip options and an interactive workshop featuring Cross-Watershed Network case clinics that are designed to help you problem solve your challenges with a team of colleagues.  
Continuing education credits were offered for the following:
  • Colorado:  Colorado qualified supervisors, certified operators, and private applicators are eligible to received 3 continuing education credits.  Click here to view the three credits available.  
  • New Mexico:  Attendees were eligible for 5 General Continuing Education Units from the New Mexico Department of Agriculture 
  • The Society for Range Management Certification Program offered 16 CEUs
