Annual XWN & VRCP Workshop

Cross-Watershed Network and the Virgin River Conservation Partnership
May 8th, 2019 to May 9th, 2019
Clark County Wetlands Park
7050 E. Wetlands Park Lane
Las Vegas, NV 89122
Join us May 8th and 9th, 2019 for the 6th annual Cross Watershed Network workshop in conjunction with the Virgin River Conservation Partnership annual symposium.

Together, we will bring together watershed management stakeholders for an interactive two-day experience in Las Vegas, Nevada at Clark County Wetlands Park – a nature center and preserve that demonstrates how a world-class restoration project connects people to nature.

Attendees will share, discuss and develop plans for tackling issues and opportunities including restoration with the tamarisk beetle in the system, emerging invasive species, and collaborative watershed strategic planning.

This workshop will include time in the field conducting active plantings with the National Park Service Exotic Plant Management Team and the Southern Nevada Water Authority.  From 3:45-5:15, you may also choose to attend a Development Meeting for the Lower Colorado River Cooperative Restoration & Weed Management Area.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be included both days. Registration is $50.

The Pre-Workshop Survey is now closed. Thank you to everyone for your input!
