North Star Roaring Fork River Float

Roaring Fork Conservancy
June 6th, 2017
Interested in floating the gentle Roaring Fork River through some of the most important wildlife habitat in the upper Roaring Fork Valley? Join staff from Pitkin County Open Space & Trails and Roaring Fork Conservancy (RFC) for an interpretive float through North Star Open Space. RFC will provide the history of North Star, point out wildlife, and discuss recent restoration activities along this mild two-hour float.
Floats are dependent on river flows and may be canceled due to extremely high or low flows.
An inflatable kayak (ducky), paddle, and PFD is provided for each participant. Please dress appropriately as the float will happen rain or shine.
