Colorado Canyons Association and Museums of Western Colorado
July 11th, 2019 to July 12th, 2019

Join a crew of expert paleontologists as we search for fossils in the previously unexplored depths of the Colorado River’s Ruby-Horsethief Canyons in McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area.

Crews will spend two days hiking side canyons looking for fossils and learning about the geological and paleontological history of the region. Participants will enjoy a night at Colorado Canyons Association’s private Catalpa Camp with expertly prepared meals featuring local ingredients and wine. Hiking and some light paddling involved.

Trip departs July 11th, returns July 12th. Includes meals, transportation and shuttle, field guides, and camping gear (if required). Trip is offered by Colorado Canyons Association in conjunction with Museums of Western Colorado.
