Riparian Restoration and Tamarisk Beetle Workshop

Join us in Yuma for presentations by professionals working across the southwest. A full day of classroom-style presentations will be followed by a half-day in the field visiting restoration sites on the Lower Colorado River (LCR).
Topics covered will include tamarisk beetle introduction, spread, and impacts, invasive species removal and management, endangered species issues, sustainable restoration planning and implementation, and revegetation/native species.

An associated meeting of the newly established LCR Cooperative Restoration & Weed Management Association will be held the previous afternoon. This meeting will be free of charge and is open to anyone interested in invasive species management and funding of work in the Lower Colorado River Basin. 
Each event will require a separate registration for processing admission into the Bureau of Reclamation facility.
