Where: Colorado/Utah on the Colorado River (Ruby/Horsethief and Westwater Canyons)
River Management Society is hosting its annual River Ranger Rendezvous. This event is a 3-day, 2-night river trip geared to get individuals that are responsible for the day-to-day management of our nation’s rivers together to share leadership and management ideas and to develop professional relationships. Training sessions and group discussions will take place at camps, lunch spots, and other targeted river-side locations.
Training Topics:
• Invasive Plant Removal and Fire Damage Restoration
• Law Enforcement – Verbal Judo with Difficult People
• Legal Issues in a Drowning Incident
• Best Practices in Outfitter Relations
• Managing Cultural Resources in River Corridors
Trip includes instruction, rafting equipment (motorized), all on-river meals (catered by Holiday Expeditions) and pre-trip camping.  Group will shuttle vehicles from campground to takeout on August 6th.

Non-Members: $330

Registration Deadline:  July 15, 2019
Registrations will be accepted on a first come basis.  Maximum number of participants is 25.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made between July 1 and August 1, 2019 will incur a $100 cancellation fee.  No refunds are available after August 1, 2019 unless the program is cancelled by RMS.  Cancellation requests must be made in writing by email to training@river-management.org.
