Tamarisk Beetle Mini-Workshop and Field Monitoring Training

Join us for an afternoon all about the tamarisk beetle! Come and learn about the distribution and spread of the tamarisk beetle, impacts of the beetle on riparian systems, effects of the beetle on endangered species, and the beetles' interaction with wildfire in desert riparian systems. The first part of the afternoon will be in a classroom-style setting with the second part an in-field training on tamarisk beetle monitoring. Presented in collaboration with the Gila Watershed Partnership.
