Join the Kansas Alliance for Wetlands to hear from experts about why tamarisk management is important, recent accomplishments in control methods, impacts on quail and deer habitat, rangeland quality issues and benefits of biochar. Program managers from the Natural Resources Conservation Service, Kansas Department of Wildlife Parks, Kansas Forest Service, and Playa Lakes Joint Venture will explain and discuss updates to programs and funding opportunities for tamarisk management, control, and eradication. Free to attend, lunch is provided.
