Volunteer Event at the Audubon Preserve

October 22nd, 2020
Join RiversEdge West and the Grand Valley Audubon Society for a volunteer event on October 22nd from 8 am - 10 am! Volunteers will be hand-pulling invasive tamarisk seedlings before they blanket the Audubon's wetland and decrease plant diversity in the area. After the tamarisk is removed, we'll collect native seeds and redistribute them over the newly cleared area to encourage the growth of native vegetation that is critical to healthy bird and wildlife habitat.
This event is limited to the first 15 participants and social distancing will be in place.

RiversEdge West's

mission is to advance the restoration of riparian lands through collaboration, education, and technical assistance.
