One of the most challenging aspects of conducting restoration work can be acquiring and maintaining adequate funding to support the full spectrum of restoration efforts. To that end, we have developed a variety of tools intended to help practitioners secure funding to support this work.
In addition to these resources, depending on our capacity and resources RiversEdge West staff can provide the following services to partnerships:
Year-by-year program budget development and cost refinement
Assessment of current funding program and recommendations for expansion
Identification of new public and private grant programs specific to the program needs
Development of a diversified funding plan
Funding tracking resources and assistance
Identification and assessment of innovative funding mechanisms and private/corporate donor opportunities
One-on-one or group training in new funding areas
In-kind tracking tools
Assistance developing outreach tools and messages to attract donations
Capacity assistance and development tools
Funding subcommittee coordination
Grant-writing assistance
Engagement with federal, state and private funding programs
Access to research about and knowledge of innovative funding tools
Information about fundraising training courses
Webinars on restoration funding techniques
