Funding Range:

Under the LCC FOA, applicants can request up to $100,000 in Federal funds for applied science projects, including research to identify how drought impacts natural or cultural resources; to develop information and tools that inform watershed management; and to improve access and use of water resources data by resource managers within the boundaries of the Desert and Southern Rockies LCCs.  A 50% non-Federal cost share contribution is required (grant recipients must contribute cash or in kind services equal to at least 50% of the total project costs).  Projects are expected to be completed within two years from the date of award. The total amount of funding budgeted for projects selected for funding under this FOA is $800,000, contingent on congressional approval of appropriations for Fiscal Year 2017.
