Jay Wilcox moved to Colorado in 1998, determined to leave her Oklahoma roots behind and become a mountain girl. While in Denver, she made time to explore the mountains through hiking, backpacking, skiing, and trail running. A move to Grand Junction in 2016 opened up new possibilities and she brought her contagious positivity and warmth to the RiversEdge West Board of Directors, pairing an appreciation for rivers with her passion for community involvement and environmental sustainability.
Jay’s professional experience is focused on one consistent theme: leading people through change. Whether it was supporting an entire company through a transformation initiative, facilitating a personal development program or communicating about change across an organization, she built expertise in helping people understand and adapt to the change in their environment. Jay is excited to apply these skills in her work with RiversEdge West.
Jay earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Jay currently lives in Tempe, Arizona with her husband, Aaron. When she’s not managing change at Silicon Valley Bank, you can find her hiking, playing tennis, or planning her next travel adventure.
