John went to Law School at the University of Colorado Boulder, received his Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a B.S. in Wildlife Biology and Zoology from the University of Florida. John lived in Grand Junction from 2012-2023 and worked at Hoskin Farina & Kampf. He is currently a Partner at White and Jankowski in Westminster, CO. Prior to attending law school, John spent roughly six years in the field as a Wildlife and Fisheries Biologist working for the United States Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Research Station, the United States Bureau of Land Management, and the National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries). As an attorney John represents individuals and business entities in water rights, water rights titles and real property matters. He also represents as general counsel various types of specialized water rights entities, including irrigation districts, mutual ditch and reservoir companies, and water and sanitation districts.
