Each August, RiversEdge West partners with Rimrock Adventures to offer a guided one-day float trip and brunch on the Colorado River.

Join us for our favorite day of the summer on August 19, 2023! We'll spend about 1.5-2 hours floating the river from Rimrock Adventures to the Loma Boat Ramp with professional raft guides and RiversEdge West staff. This Class I float (no rapids) includes one stop along the riverbank to hear from RiversEdge West staff for a behind-the-scenes look at restoration work happening along the river. Discussions may also include the tamarisk beetle, endangered fish, and wildlife.

After relaxing on the river, you will arrive back at Rimrock Adventures for a delicious brunch, complete with bloody marys, mimosas, and non-alcoholic drinks, and test your luck at our prize giveaway.

Testimonials

The perfect package of fun, education, and first-hand experience on our river. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Friendly people, great vibe, nice music, and food afterward in a beautiful location, and we learned new information about the river too!

Great food, beer, and music in an ideal setting. I have always enjoyed Tim and Richard and The Copper Club and here they were supporting the Raft the River on a beautiful day on the Colorado.

The food and rafting plus post rafting fun were outstanding. The event organization was stellar. Thank you!

The experience was both fun and enlightening. The event was well planned from beginning to end.

I want to thank you for arranging the Raft the River trip!  It was certainly an educational trip!  I hope my brain can retain what I learned about the Colorado River, information pertaining to tamarisk trees, beetles, Russian olive trees, willows, plus other native and non-native plants and fish. Rimrock provided us with awesome navigators and food served in a beautiful location following the raft adventure. It was nice meeting people who are interested in our outdoor world along the Colorado River Valley.
