Cara (she/her) has been with RiversEdge West since 2013 and manages the development of RiversEdge West's (REW) philanthropic funding resources as well as REW’s communications, brand, and marketing strategies. Cara received her Bachelor of Science in Public and Environmental Management from Indiana University in 2008.
Prior to joining RiversEdge West, Cara worked as a Naturalist, teaching environmental education in Chicago, IL; a Biology Technician, conducting backcountry stream surveys in Oregon; and coordinated sustainability efforts at Lake Powell in Utah. When not working on rivers, Cara enjoys spending time outdoors with her son and husband, mountain biking, hiking, rafting, and making jewelry.
