Join RiversEdge West (REW) and the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management for an interactive workshop! Discover how tamarisk beetles are being used as an effective tool for managing invasive plant species in riparian ecosystems. This hands-on workshop will delve into the science and strategies behind biocontrol, showcasing its role in promoting long-term habitat restoration. On Day 1, we will hear from experts in the field, engage in guided networking, and have panels and discussions. On Day 2, we will spend the morning in the field learning to monitor tamarisk beetles and defoliation of invasive tamarisk.
