Oral Presentations

  • Unless otherwise noted in the agenda, all oral presentations will be 20 minutes in length (15 minutes for your presentation with 5 minutes for questions). Please double-check the agenda to confirm your presentation time and length.
  • The length of each presentation is subject to change as we may need to periodically adjust the schedule if speakers can no longer present.
  • If you would like to request a specific presentation length other than the default 20 minutes, please email Cara at Ckukuraitis@riversedgewest.org as soon as possible.
  • In-person presentations: Your presentation must be uploaded to REW's Conference Dropbox one full session before the session that contains your presentation. The link to the Dropbox account will be emailed mid-January.
  • Virtual presentations: If you are presenting virtually, you must pre-record your presentation and upload it to REW's Dropbox account one week prior to the conference. There will be no live presentations unless otherwise noted. You are required to be present during your presentation time slot during the conference for a live, virtual Q&A that will follow your recorded presentation.

Poster Presentations

  • You may set up your poster starting at noon on February 23rd.
  • The poster session will take place from 5~7pm on the evening of February 23rd, but we encourage you to leave your posters up until the end of day three, February 25th.
  • We will have foam boards and easels for you to stand your poster on.
  • Our poster boards can accommodate posters that are 47"x40".
  • Please use the poster templates provided here, or watch this video for important tips.
  • Email a copy (pdf or .jpg) of your poster to Cara at ckukuraitis@riversedgewest.org so that it may be shared online.

Registration Policy

All presenters are required to register for the conference by January 23, 2022.

Cancellation Policy

Please do not submit an abstract if you are not confident that you will be able to attend the conference and make the presentation. Cancellations impose a serious burden on the Conference Committee and negatively impact the overall quality of the program.

If your presentation has been accepted into the agenda but extenuating circumstances prevent your attendance, we ask that you attempt to find another individual to make the presentation and notify us of this change as soon as possible.
