RiversEdge West hosted its Wellspring Project; a 5-day summer program for middle school students that addressed the complexities of the Colorado River and provided participants with the opportunity to respond artistically to that experience.
2022 Volunteer Program
In 2022, RiversEdge West hosted the Connected Lakes Volunteers! The group met on the first Tuesday of each month from May-October of 2022.
Collectively, we removed invasive Russian olive (and endured a few scrapes to boot), closed social trails, weeded, and removed pampas grass seed heads. Over the course of 7 events and with 109 volunteers, this donated time is valued at $6,869!
